چکیده

• On module testing level, tests are performed against low-level software requirements (i.e., design specifications), and the test data refers to software objects (e.g., function interfaces, global variables). • On software integration level, tests are performed against high-level software requirements, and the test data refers again to software objects. • On HW/SW integration level, tests are performed against high-level software requirements, and the test data refers to HW interfaces of the controller under test. • On systems integration level, tests are performed against system requirements, and the test data refers to HW interfaces, networks, and the interfaces of peripherals.

IASSF: A Simulation For F/A-18 Avionics Software Testing

The Integrated Avionics Systems Support Facility (IASSF) provides a simulated environment to test F/A-18 avionics, avionics software and system behaviour on the ground without the initial need for real F/A-18 flight testing. The Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) has commissioned IASSF to allow mission critical Operational Flight Programs (OFPs) in the F/A-18 to be written, modified and tested. ...

A Validation Frame Work Design Concept for Mutation based Evaluation of Integrated Performance of Avionics Systems of Unmanned Air Vehicles

The Avionics of an Unmanned Air Vehicle comprises of a number of Flight-Critical and Mission-Critical systems and a pilot-vehicle interface with complex real-time performance capabilities. Verification of integrated dynamic performance of such systems in an Avionics Integration Rig is a challenging task in terms of achieving sufficient test adequacy and inclusion of optimization in test case de...

Adding formal specifications to a proven V&V process for system-critical flight software

The process used to validate, verify, and test flight avionics control systems has produced software that is highly reliable. However, ever greater demands for reliability require new automated tools to improve existing processes. We use the Anna formal specification language and supporting tool set to develop a Test Range Oracle Tool (TROT) to automate the testing of equation execution. Our ap...
